Over the last nine months I have provided DJ services such as listed:

I can even provide on the day/night some wicked moves for the dance floor e.g for Weddings. As I am also a qualified Athletics coach, I can warm up the party people, have them last the pace and cool them down gently as they leave on a high and contented, fun and funfilled.

For your peace of mind I am a qualified First Aider have enhanced CRB clearance and attended a workshop on Child Protection. I’ve been contracted to doing a number of  athletic events recently such as Sportshall ,warming up/coaching and officiating  hundred of kids to music I provide as they compete with fun in schools indoor and outdoor sports competitions!

At ‘Jumpin at the Woodside’ international swing and jive event in early May 2005, I was delighted to DJ for the BBC contestants in ‘strictly dance fever’ who came to the event. The BBC has contacted me several times to discuss tunes for the 2006 series.

If you like swing or jive in whatever form, or like to party and looking for that special DJ, be it a wedding, 40th or other then get in touch. I am a DJ and organiser and promoter of Jive Junction music and dance events. Am I a dancer's DJ?

Yes indeed, but more than for dancers only! I have dabbled in many styles from Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Rock n Roll, Modern Jive, West Coast Swing, Boogie Woogie to name but a few.

I am experienced to know the music that will fill and turn over the floor and make happy feet and smiley faces. I have used some of the very best teachers of dance styles in the world/ UK through dance workshops and dance events.

Over the years I learned the ropes on the scene by going to the swing camps in Herrang (Sweden), Catalina ( USA) and travelled more extensively in USA (covering California, North to South) ,Chicago, New York and all the UK swing camps to keep up to date with the swing dance and music scene. I set up Jive Junction and after many sell out and fab nights (see reviews link) I broadened out to DJ too.

In my capacity as DJ Rob 'the Jive Jock' I have a huge selection of over 35,000 tunes in my collection. I use a quality sound system and a range of lights all to suit most tastes. I offer very good value and reputation and I have a lot of repeat business -a sign of satisfying the dancers and clients. I specialise in swing from the 20s to the present day with blues and jump jive, swingers, crooners, divas and the contemporary hot dance tunes thrown in too.

I play music that is danceable and enjoyable I am available to hire to support other dance and party organisers, I do weddings, birthday parties--just ask me and see what I can offer. Plenty to offer in many genres- soul/motown, disco, funk, 70s-80s and current chart tunes to name a few.

I am a member of the National Association of DJs and the Musicians Union (MU) and have £10 million public liability insurance through the MU.
